The PGA of America has chosen Bermuda to host the Grand Slam of Golf in 2012, the season-ending showcase and the most difficult event to qualify for. The Grand Slam will be held at the Port Royal Golf Course which was designed by the late architect Robert Trent Jones Sr and underwent a $13.7 million renovation in 2009. The Fairmont Southampton will be the official hotel for the event in 2012. www.GoToBermuda.co.uk
