Dominica’s new Waitukubuli National Trail is the first and only long distance hiking trail in the Caribbean. The Waitukubuli National Trail runs for 115 miles from the south to the north of the island and is divided into 14 sections. The trail passes through forest reserves, national parks, old slave routes, small farms and country villages where hikers can stop off for meals and fruit snacks. Those looking to relax along the way can stop off at the hot springs at Wotton Waven, Laudat and Soufriere. www.waitukubulitrail.com
